Summer Day Camps

At Calkins Nature Area, we invite youth from near and far to join us for a week of daily summer camps. Each camp will allow children the opportunity to unplug and immerse themselves in a week of experiencing nature. Be sure to follow our Facebook page and keep updated on website news postings at the bottom of our home page to watch for spring enrollment!

Time for picture break (below) during of the many nature hikes during day camps. One of the main objectives of our day camps is to get kids unplugged and immersed in nature.

Camp Nature Hike

Camp activities include a wide variety of nature-themed games, crafts, wilderness skills and exploration hikes. These are just to name a few! 

Camp registration is limited and is on a first come, first serve basis. Registration will open each year on the second Wednesday in April.
