[ARCHIVED] 1st Installment Property Taxes Due Sept 30th

Hardin County Treasurer, Machel Eichmeier, would like to remind property owners that the first installment of property taxes is due Saturday, September 30th, 2017.  Property tax information may be obtained online or by calling the Treasurer’s Office at 641-939-8230. To avoid penalty on the first installment, your payment must be received in the Treasurer’s Office or postmarked by Monday, October 2, 2017, since the 30th falls on the weekend.

Pay Online

Payments may also be posted online by E-check for less than the cost of a postage stamp!  There is just a $0.40 per transaction fee at http://iowatreasurers.org. Credit card payments are also accepted online. There is a non-refundable Service Delivery Fee to pay by credit card. When paying online by credit card, you will have the opportunity to review the total charge and exit the system prior to completing the transaction.
