The plastic weapons permits are now available. If you applied for a permit to acquire or a permit to carry between July 1st and December 31st, 2017, your permit is here at the Sheriff's Office.Those permits can be picked up Monday-Friday between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM. The permit cannot be sent by mail from the Sheriff's Office. The Sheriff's Office is located at 1114 16th Avenue in Eldora.

If you applied for either permit after January 1st, 2018, the permit will arrive to your mailing address through the U.S. mail, from the State of Iowa.
Anyone who holds a valid permit and wishes to get a plastic permit, you may apply for a duplicate for a cost of $25.00. Applications must be made at the Sheriff's Office in person.
