Crisis Intervention Service

Crisis Intervention Service is looking for volunteers in the Hardin county area.


Services Provided

Crisis Intervention Service is a private, non-profit organization that provides free 24 hour support and services for people impacted by domestic violence and sexual assault. Services include medical and legal advocacy, peer counseling, safety planning, as well information and referral.


Volunteer Opportunities

  • Childcare
  • Maintenance
  • Fundraising and Events

We appreciate all volunteers, so if you are passionate for our movement of non-violence, reach out to us with your talents and skills and we will be happy to work with you!


Interested?

Direct service volunteers must be at least 18 years of age, be flexible and reliable, have access to transportation and be empathetic.  

All candidates need to fill out a volunteer application, have a volunteer interview and will be subject to background checks. We will provide training for all those interested in direct service volunteer positions.
