NOTICE from Hardin County Secondary Roads regarding Monday, February 25th
County plows and motor graders will start at 4:00 AM. Motor graders will lead with their V-plows and the plows will clean up the mess they leave. After this the motor graders will get to their gravel routes. They will aim for clearing 1 lane of traffic on all the gravel roads before they go back and start clearing them better.
Anyone residing on a gravel road should not expect to have their road opened any earlier than 8:00 AM with the possibility of all day. The goal is to get every road opened tomorrow, but that cannot be guaranteed due to ,a lot of unknown variables.
Prepare for the worst, hope for the best.
