Bonding
Customers who do not have the proper paperwork to register a vessel or off highway vehicle may be able to register by using the bonding process. Customers must remit the 542-0855 Request Form for Bonded Title or Registration (PDF). More information on the bonding process can be found on the Iowa DNR website.
Antique Snowmobiles
The required paperwork fro the registration of an antique snowmobile is a bill of sale. The bill of sale does not need to be from the last registered owner. A snowmobile can be registered as an antique if the model year is 1984 or before. An antique snowmobile registration is a lifetime registration.
