Bird Watching

DSC_1804.JPGDocument (2).jfif birdobservatory.jpeg

Bird watching is a wonderful way to connect with nature and appreciate the beautiful creatures around us. At Hardin County Conservation, we are dedicated to providing a variety of areas and opportunities for bird-watching enthusiasts. One way to get up close and personal with these feathered friends is by sneaking into our mobile bird blind. We announce the locations of these blinds on our Facebook page, so be sure to follow us to stay up-to-date.

For those who prefer a more structured experience, we highly recommend a visit to Calkin’s Nature Center. There, you can visit the wild bird observatory and learn about the different species of birds that call Hardin County home.

If you're feeling adventurous, you can also visit one of our multiple wetlands. These areas provide a perfect habitat for many species of birds, and you're sure to catch a glimpse of some beautiful plumage.

Whether you're a seasoned bird watcher or just starting out, there's something for everyone at Hardin County Conservation. Come explore our various areas and discover the beauty of bird watching for yourself!
